Him Gau Sanrakshan Samiti is a non-profit, and it was started in January 2020, with the aim to carry out activities to care for stray/abandoned cows, including arranging shelter and fodder, providing medical care, and raising funds for their care.
We run Dr YS Parmar Gausadan (Aaranyak), a cow sanctuary in Pajhota, Teh. Rajgarh, Dist. Sirmaur, HP.

this fundraiser
Funds donated to our organisation through this fundraiser will be used to buy corn silage, which is a very nutritious green fodder made from corn.
The total amount required for ordering 9,000 Kgs is ₹ 74,250.
The breakdown of this amount is as follows:
➡ Silage Cost: 6.25 ₹/kg×9,000 kg= ₹ 56,250
➡ Transportation: ₹ 18,000
On completion of the goal, order for the silage will be placed. You will be provided updates via email address provided during your donation.

FAQs
This fundraiser will run till 31 August 2026. The duration may be extended, in case the required amount is not raised.
As soon as the required goal is met, we will place an order for the silage.
On the delivery, donors will be provided with an update through email. Along with pictures of the delivery, this update will contain the bill for the fodder and receipts for transport.
Updates and the list of donors will also be published on this page.
If the goal is not met, even after the deadline is extended, we will still procure the fodder for the total amount which was raised.
